Korat Deodorant
Project
Brand creation from the ground up—story, strategy, and shelf appeal.
Logo, packaging, custom iconography, and digital presence designed to bring an all-natural startup to life with clarity and character.
PROBLEM → SOLUTION
Korat had a vision: natural deodorant made with clean ingredients and zero plastic. What they didn’t have was a brand to express it.
I crafted a look and feel that honored the simplicity of the product without disappearing into the “natural” aisle—clean, earthy, and vibrant enough to catch attention.
Description
Korat Deodorant started as a simple, powerful idea: a plastic-free, all-natural deodorant that’s as good for the body as it is for the planet. I was brought in at ground zero—as the first creative to touch the brand—and worked directly with the founder to translate their personal mission into a clear, compelling brand system.
Our conversations informed everything: from the visual tone and packaging architecture to the voice, layout, and user experience. I developed the full identity from scratch, including logo design, custom scent icons for each lid, and a label system that’s minimal, earthy, and purposefully unexpected. We didn’t want to feel like every other “natural” product lost in a sea of beige. This brand needed to feel clean — but also confident, sharp, and shelf-ready.
For the packaging, I designed with simplicity in mind—paired with color-driven scent differentiation to keep things bold but readable. Each lid features a custom symbol representing its scent, offering a small brand moment that’s both visual and functional.
Once the look was locked, I built the direct-to-consumer website with conversion and clarity in mind. From ingredient education to sustainability messaging, every page was designed to communicate trust without over-explaining. It’s a minimalist brand, but nothing about it is accidental.
